HEEREMA awarded TARKA-SYSTEMS the complete monitoring system on the largest barge of the world – H851.
Together with Xsens a data monitoring system for the Barge Master T700 and T40 was developed. The tailor made system was built with Xsens Motion Tracker sensors.
LARGEST BARGE OF THE WORLD
The monitoring system was prepared at FAT-tested at the office of TARKA-SYSTEMS. The installation took place in China and Korea. The system consisted of the following main components and activities:
- Installation of many strain gauges in different tanks.
- Installation of Junction boxes to gather all incoming signals from the sensor.
- Installation of battery system, solar panels and wind generators to provide the stand-alone measurement of power.
- Installation of sensor: - 6DOF motion sensor
- Software development
- Activities (see service) - Hardware selection of sensors and components

- Wireless link with multiple tugs and installation control vessel
